what is it about?

This is my personal coding website. A small page to showcase some projects, where you can learn something about me and how to get in touch with me.

I am curious about entrepreneurship, especially social entrepreneurship, startups, sustainability and coding.

All the background images are taken by myself, feel free to get in touch with me if you would like to use some of them for your own project.

who am I?

I grew up in a small Swiss mountain village with around 750 inhabitants. Since I am always curious to learn new things I head out of the village soon. I ended up taking the bus to the next city every day to do an apprenticeship in business administration. Later on went to University and finished a BSc in Business administration with majors in entrepreneurship & innovation.

While doing my education I was working in a local trustees office as a financial auditor and accountant. There I was learning about how people organized their businesses and what are the ways to succesfully run a small company.

After 10 years of working in the financial field it was time for something new. I needed a new challenge and went to Siberia to work as a project manager for web applications. Since I enjoyed the work, I decided to continue the path of software development and did a nine weeks coding bootcamp at BitmakerLabs in Toronto. Now I am looking for new opportunities to make the world a better place, preferably working as a developer or a project manager.

In my free time I do a lot of snowboarding in winter and I enjoy taking pictures all year round. Furthermore I have fun traveling around to see new places to meet local people and listen to their stories.
